TERMS & CONDITIONS

*We do not and will not sell bottle calves.  We also keep our calves with their dames for a minimum of 6 months.

*We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we do not feel the animal will be in the best environment.

*If we ask for a deposit to hold an animal, generally it is not refundable unless otherwise agreed upon.

*You will always get receipts for any payments made in any form.

*As a rule, all animals will have at least one dose of vaccine and have dewormer.  Currently we use Triangle 10 and 8 Way.

*We do use pesticides for fly and lice control.

*Generally, if animal is registerable, we do all the paperwork and pay the registration fee for transfer of your calf  ownership to your name.    You will receive a receipt for this process, however it can take a few weeks for you to receive your certificate in the mail from the appropriate registry.  

*Your calf will be transitioned to calf feed before transfer.  We will provide you information on what that is at the time of pickup and if possible we will send some home with you.  Please take care with their diet.  Any animal, while transitioning to a new home is under some amount of stress and anything you can do to ease their experience will go a lot toward their health and future behaviors.  We strive for a low stress environment.  Its easier on everyone involved.

*Please realise that while they are cute as a button, they are in fact an animal.  They are generally bigger and stronger than you.  Until the animal gets use to you and its environment they may be hesitant to approach or be flighty.  It takes work on your part to build trust.  Treats across a barrier usually increases their interest.  Sometimes it takes a while to figure out what that treat they like is.  I have some that only like range cubes, and some apple snacks for horses, carrots, apples, etc.  Never let an unattended child in with or on the animal.  It only takes one spook (loud noise, a random bee, etc) to cause them to jump and move and unintentionally hurt someone.
