IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • What are the benefits of Scottish Highland cattle?
This breed is very hardy! This is a docile breed with little hands on requirements. We had a lot of brush on our farm and they clear it out. Have less than ideal pasture? This breed is for you. They adapt well to cold weather and my highlands have been known to be perfectly happy laying in the snow. With warmer weather, the hair thins out but they do enjoy the shade and even water to wade out in.
  • What is a highpark?
Highpark is a mix of Scottish Highland and British White or White park cattle. As of now, our highparks are 50/50. Our breeding Whites, Faye and soon to be Nora, are double registered through American British White Park and British White Cattle Assoc of America.
  • Can your cattle be registered?
If our cattle can be registered it will be included in the information. Generally, they can. We usually register the crosses and pure breds to Heartland Highland Cattle Association. I will transfer the registration of your cow after purchase at my cost.
  • How can I inquire about your cattle that you have for sale?
Please email at samoore620@yahoo.com first. Our cell service at the farm is very poor but through wifi I check my email often.
